The local grub scene is a treasure trove! I had a blast discovering some corking places with top-notch Iberian bites. Plus, the staff were fab and the free parking was a cherry on top.
Only a vending machine on-site? Talk about slim pickings! Had to trek out for a proper meal, and the signage was a bit dodgy, could easily get lost, especially if you're new around here.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay quite enjoyable. Clean and comfortable room, though a bit small, but it had all I needed. I noticed cleaning wasn’t done during my two-night stay, and a larger bin would have been appreciated. great value for money.

The hotel offers direct access to a shared kitchen, which is quite convenient if you're looking to whip up a late-night snack. A surprisingly vibrant atmosphere permeates the surroundings, definitely catering to a youthful crowd.
Not knowing it’s on a university campus might throw some off. it feels more like student digs than a hotel at times. My room lacked basic amenities like coffee-making facilities, which felt like a letdown for a place charging £95 a night. The room setup didn't work out ideally, with separate accommodations that weren't close by, and waking up to a fire drill at 8 a.m. isn't exactly an ideal start to the day after a late night.

Perfect spot for a gig!
We were just two minutes away from the UEA for the concert, which was super convenient! The free secure parking was a definite win. The room was cozy and just right for us. The only thing, it could've used a bit more space. Breakfast was tasty too, really enjoyed it!

Staying here was a delight. I loved the cozy room with its awesome smart TV and the sweet little coffee set that made mornings brighter. While I didn't catch any live shows, the peaceful lounge area was perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi signal wasn't great in my room, but it didn't spoil my fun! 😊

Clean room, good shower, super close to the UEA for events. Shower didn’t drain well. water ran out under the bathroom door.

Excellent value with convenient location
I had a wonderful stay for one night with my family. The hotel is perfectly located for visiting the university, making it incredibly convenient for us. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. If there's one thing to improve, it could be the addition of more dining options on-site, but the nearby breakfast spot was fantastic.

Great location near our event, but the parking was limited.

missingWrote a review on Apr 26top floor roomsseparate layoutdecent spacepoor maintenance
The rooms on the top floor offer decent space and were more enjoyable during earlier visits. The building's layout provides a separate feel from the student accommodation, which adds some privacy despite the mixed-use environment.
This stay on the second floor was a different story. The single room felt like basic student accommodation, lacking essentials like coffee or tea facilities. The shared kitchen was hardly usable, infested with stale food, making it unappetizing. The poor Wi-Fi connection in the higher-numbered rooms might not suit business travelers, and there’s practically no mobile signal available. The wet room shower design presented some awkwardness due to the small size and slippery floor. As for noise, the low hum from a nearby utility cupboard could be heard all night, not ideal when trying to catch some sleep.
